Serving bowl class

Learn the art of hand building in an intimate relaxed setting.

80 US dollars
South Delaware Avenue

Service Description

These small group classes focus on clay techniques like pinching, coiling, and slab building to create functional and sculptural pieces. With plenty of personal guidance, you’ll explore your creativity while making pottery by hand—perfect for beginners or anyone looking to slow down and connect through clay. In this class we will be making a serving size fruit or salad bowl. I will show you many techniques and tricks to make this centerpiece bowl look great! Class sizes are strictly limited and you must be over 16 to attend or be accompanied by a paying Adult and create together! I will bisque fire your piece and it will be ready for painting in 2 weeks. You will come back to paint and decorate your piece and I will fire it again and it will be ready for pick top in 2 weeks. Please note, we can’t be responsible for any cracks and damages that can occur during firing process. To cancel (1 week before a class) or reschedule (72 hours before a class) send an email to platecollective@gmail.com Although we are careful when handling pieces to be kiln fired, as the art of ceramics includes many variables that are out of our control, we do NOT guarantee any finished piece.
